When I was drawing Memories earlier, I had posted it on my Facebook. Just for fun, ya know. And one of my friends had asked me, "Why do you draw so good?!"
I was dumbfounded for a moment.
I felt a bit silly. Anyone would've answered, "Practice," or "I'm just that good." but something about that felt wrong to me.
I've never really gave thought as to WHY I drew good. Of course, practice is important, but you can't practice without a motivation to be better. And that is what I had never really thought about. Most people will draw for fame or money or (in dA's case) points. Well, I have none of those things and I draw happily. But then I realized why.
Reactions.
I don't think I've ever been happier than when I know someone sees what I create and likes it. I love seeing them smile or laugh and sometimes even cry when they see what I've done. It means what I have done has effected someone's heart, that I've made them happy. Which is why I love to draw. Even if I'm not to best aritist -- even if my art is sub-par to what everyone else can do, I love drawing if it will make someone smile.
So Imma keep drawing! And Creativity will support me... Sometimes ; 7 ;
